Project Description
“High Dynamic Range is a set of techniques that allow a greater dynamic range of luminance between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than standard digital imaging techniques or photographic methods.”
I designed and developed this site for educational purposes. This site is intended to help those who are interested in learning this technique through online resources. I walk through the basics of HDR through my tutorial. Throughout the website, there are tooltips that help the end user learn more about that specific key term.
This site has a little Quiz users can take after they have read through the tutorial. The quiz gives instant feedback to whether they got the question right or wrong.
On the home page, there is an HDR image slider that I built from scratch using the jQuery library. This is my favorite feature of the site.
